Raise Money With Gift Auctions

A non-profit organization is constantly searching for ways to raise money.  They are starting to appreciate (even more now than before) a simple event for fundraising...gift auctions.  Gift auctions are becoming even more popular for these organizations, not only with their supporters and/or members, but with the community as well. 

With donations from local businesses, an organization is not only aquiring some great gift items for the baskets, but in turn, the business who donated the item is getting exposure to hundreds of event attendees.  Not a bad trade!

By advertising in local newspapers, women (and men!) who want a night out with their friends find that gift auctions are a fun, inexpensive way to unwind...and try to win some great swag!

In some instances, you can get your hands on "last seasons" electronics and appliances at a very low price (almost nothing!) - all it takes is a simple call to your local store.  Monetary donations you get can easily pay the VERY little amount you might pay for a handful of great electronic devices and appliances...TV's, iPods, iPads, and grills are just a few ideas. 

October and November are a great time to organize a gift auction too...it's close to the holidays and it's a FUN way for someone to win some holiday gift items!
